2023 Contalmaison Pilgrimage
Following a successful return to the Somme in 2022, we are pleased to publish the itinerary for our 2023 Pilgrimage to Contalmaison. Among the highlights will be a visit to an actual British tank, abandoned in a French village in 1917 and the long-awaited unveiling of the Gary Tait/Patricia Leroy Memorial Bench in the village on 1 July.
Our travel guru, Ed Dalgleish, has yet again managed to negotiate some very favourable prices. £587.00 per person, sharing a two-berth cabin on the ferry and a twin room at the Holiday Inn, right in the centre of Arras, is only £11.00 more expensive than last year.
We can offer an alternative option to reduce the individual price to £518.00 per person – a two-berth cabin on the ferry and sharing a room among three at the Holiday Inn. Prices for single accommodation are available on application.
Both prices include coach travel and entry to Deborah the Tank and the Commonwealth War Graves Experience. You have to buy your own beer.
A deposit of £200.00 per person is required immediately to reserve places on the coach.
